Common questions
Does Amazon charge a referral fee under ₹1,000?
No. From 16 March 2026, Amazon India charges zero referral fee on products priced under ₹1,000 in most categories. Closing fees and shipping fees still apply.
Does Flipkart charge commission under ₹1,000?
Flipkart charges zero commission on eligible products priced under ₹1,000, and from July 2026 zero commission on fashion at every price. Fixed, collection and shipping fees still apply.
What is volumetric weight?
Length × width × height in cm, divided by 5,000. Platforms charge shipping on whichever is higher: actual or volumetric weight. A smaller box can move you into a cheaper slab.
Why can my fees differ from this calculator?
Fees vary by seller tier, sub-category and programme, and platforms change them often. Use “Edit fees” to match your own rate card from Seller Central, Seller Hub or the Meesho supplier panel.
